GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY
The P&C Personal Line Sales Producer is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the personal insurance sector. This role requires a proactive, goal-driven professional with strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of personal insurance products. The Sales Producer will build and maintain client relationships, provide tailored risk management solutions, and contribute to revenue growth.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively generate new sales leads through agent referrals; obtain all necessary information to convert leads into qualified prospects and clients.
- Present proposals to prospects and clients, close sales, and complete thorough exposure analysis.
- Develop accounts and cross-sell products and services within the P&C Department and/or the agency's All-in-One Platform.
- Be proficient in and utilize carrier rating systems provided for agency use, along with the agency management system and related websites.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation for both existing and prospective clients.
- Identify carrier risk appetites, target classes, underwriting guidelines, and product offerings.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, carrier requests, and incoming correspondence.
- Attend training sessions, sales meetings, and courses to maintain up-to-date skills, industry knowledge, and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, carrier requirements, and industry standards while maintaining the highest ethical service practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Stay informed about marketplace developments, competitive trends, and evolving consumer needs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Active PropertyCasualty (P&C) insurance license.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in personal insurance (preferred).
- Experience working with affluent market and high-net-worth clients, as well as related insurance carriers (preferred).
- Experience with agency bill processes and premium financing (preferred).
- Bilingual in English and Chinese.
- Proven sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in agency management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and related technology.
