Conviva is seeking a People Operations Generalist that will report to the Director of People and is responsible for providing Top-Notch service, analysis, program management and technical support in the delivery of global people operations programs.
What Success Will Look Like:
- Be the on the front line of People, Place & Culture (PPC): Serve as main point of contact for inquiries from the entire global organization including responding to the employee service center email inbox for benefits, global mobility, and other employment related requests. Be the champion of a top-notch onboarding experience from the welcome aboard system process to conducting their 1st day new hire orientation. Assist employees with benefit enrollment, data entry, wellness activities and ADP Workforce Now challenges.
- Drive People Data Integrity: Use the ADP Workforce Now onboarding tool to distribute and collect the new hire paperwork, track where employees are in the new-hire and onboarding processes and stay in touch with the new-hire and their manager for 1st Day logistics. Assemble new employee personnel files in online filing system. Record, track, enter information in various databases, including recruitment referral bonuses and payments, personal data, performance evaluations, benefits and org chart software.
- Shine as the Workflow Master: Own people operations day-to-day administration, managing invoices from vendors, completing purchase order requests and submitting HR invoices for payment. Ensure all company work locations follow local, state and federal employment laws. You will standardize processes for filing, emailing and scanning HR related documents and ensure confidentiality. Smash deadlines and build continuity between people operations and the payroll team to ensure an exemplary Conviva employee experience.
- Responsible for Creating: Innovation thought leader in making recommendations for continuous improvement, maintaining compliance, and remaining current with HR and company trends, regulations, and best practices. Participate, assist, and add flavor to company events including staff workshops, celebrations, wellness activities, etc.
Who You Are & What You've Done:
- Relevant Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR operations within an early to mid-stage startup environment. Working knowledge of day-to-day operations with ADP Workforce Now is a must. Knowledge of pertinent employment laws, federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements. BA/BS degree in related fields is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Project Management experience preferred.
- Internal/External partner development: You are a master at crafting and maintaining key cross-functional relationships with Recruiting, Workplace, IT, Finance and employees to ensure unified team effort in providing top notch service as the daily standard. You stand out while managing external vendors as an extension of the Conviva team.
- Global mindset: You have the experience in or ability to develop, prioritize and promote multiple processes/projects simultaneously, spanning multiple audiences globally.
- Employee-centric mentality: You are the front line of the HR/People team! You have empathy and a strong desire to be resourceful and to help provide solutions for our employees' needs, enabling them to focus on doing their best work.

You have a proven track record for being resourceful and you are comfortable with using MS Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and other formulas / macros, MS Word mail merge, and MS PowerPoint.

*This position will be based in our Foster City, CA office.
The expected salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $175,000 + equity + benefits. The actual level and compensation are determined by several factors, such as your qualifications, professional background, and relevant experience.
