Job Summary:
We’re seeking a reliable, creative, and highly organized Personal Assistant to support a working actor, director, and entrepreneur who runs a media production company, an educational tutoring business, and serves on the board of a nonprofit. This is an exciting opportunity to work across entertainment, education, and nonprofit sectors while gaining hands-on experience in creative development, brand growth, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
Creative & Entertainment Industry Support
- Assist with social media content creation and audience growth (Instagram, TikTok, Reels)
- Manage and maintain casting profiles (Actors Access, Casting Networks, etc.)
- Update and maintain personal and business websites (Squarespace or similar)
- Coordinate audition submissions and manage digital marketing materials
- Conduct research to support film, TV, and theater projects, as well as media production and business development
- Help build and maintain an annual calendar with quarterly goals and project timelines
Educational Business & Nonprofit Support
- Support basic operations for an educational tutoring company (email marketing, light admin, tracking projects)
- Draft and organize client communications, curriculum materials, and onboarding documents
- Assist with nonprofit board duties (meeting prep, correspondence, notes, follow-ups)
- Contribute to research and communications for education and nonprofit storytelling projects
Administrative & Personal Tasks
- Light personal errands (grocery orders, travel research, appointment coordination)
- General support with calendar management and project follow-through
Qualifications:
- Interest or experience in personal assisting, creative production, talent management, education, or nonprofit work
- Familiarity with digital tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Draft, Premiere Pro, and Google Workspace
- Experience managing social media accounts and growing online audiences
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- NYC-based preferred, but remote applicants will be considered
