Saint Paul Catholic Classical School seeks a part-time, dynamic Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director for grades PK-8th to join our faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. Saint Paul Catholic Classical School is a Catholic, classical liberal arts school serving students in grades PK3-8th grade. Saint Paul Catholic Classical School’s mission extends the mission of the church by accompanying parents on their journey as primary educators to unlock the wonders of God's creation through a comprehensive, faith-based, classical education. In communion with the Catholic Church, we foster awareness of each child's dignity as created in the image and likeness of God. We strive to form the whole person, which enables each child to seek truth, goodness, and beauty in all things and to grow and live as an instrument of God's love. Our Classical Liberal Arts curriculum places Christ at the center of all things by instilling virtue and wisdom in each student.

We are seeking a candidate for a part-time Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director who possesses a deep understanding of focusing on the complete physical development of the child, emphasizing virtue in curriculum while understanding its place in a liberal arts education. The candidate will also possess a love for lifelong learning. The Athletic Director will oversee the development and growth of the Saint Paul Athletic Program while understanding its place in the greater classical curriculum and its responsibility of instilling virtue in our athletes. Ideally, the candidate will have an understanding and appreciation for a classical liberal arts education, strong teaching skills, excellent communication skills, and be committed to forming Christ-centered leaders in the Catholic faith.

Qualifications:

  • minimum Bachelor’s degree in a subject area related to the position for which you apply;
  • teaching experience preferred;
  • a love of teaching, passion for the subject matter, and desire to continue one’s own learning;
  • committed to embracing and fulfilling the school’s mission and vision;
  • familiarity with classical educational methods.

Interested candidates should complete the Catholic Schools Office Application at www.csodallas.org/apply, and send a cover letter and resume to [email protected].
