Overview
Sleep Medicine only practice seeks Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join established practice in our beautiful new office space in Maitland. We are a cohesive and collaborative team of one physician and three PA/ NP providers. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional and has excellent interpersonal skills and will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to our patients, coordinate care with our office staff, and will be able to work with a high level of independence.
Responsibilities
- No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities. The physician answers after hour calls.
- Approximate schedule 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday
- Conduct thorough history and physical examinations to diagnose and treat various sleep medicine conditions including obstructive sleep apnea, nacolepsy and insomnia.
- Order and manage CPAP, medications and other treatments as needed.
- Document patient care in E-Clinical Works EMR in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform some encounters via Telehealth
- Utilize accurate ICD-10 diagnosis and coding to facilitate proper billing
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Credentials Required
- Current full Florida licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
