We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizzaiolo to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to quality, ensuring that every pizza is crafted to perfection. This role requires technical skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation. The Pizzaiolo will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall dining experience by preparing delicious pizzas and maintaining high standards of food safety. Experience in the expo position with multitasking abilities.
Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared for use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza area, including equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency.
- Expo station when needed, with the ability to multitask.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
Skills
- Previous experience as a pizzaiolo or in a similar role within the culinary field.
- Neapolitan pizza experience preferred, showcasing high-quality food preparation techniques.
- Proficient in food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of food service operations and effective food handling practices.
- Restaurant experience is beneficial for understanding fast-paced environments.
- Kitchen experience with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
- Culinary experience that includes knife skills and meal preparation techniques.
- Commitment to food safety standards and practices.
- Open schedule a plus. Lunch/dinner shifts available as well as 7 days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
