About the Role:
We’re a high-volume commercial and residential landscaping operation in Dallas/Fort Worth, and we need an Irrigation Technician who can hit the ground running. You’ll be responsible for routine irrigation inspections and one-off service calls, at which you will run through the system, record any deficiencies in our system, and upon approval by the client, make approved repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems (sprinkler, drip, smart systems)
- Diagnose and fix system issues (leaks, low pressure, timer errors, etc.)
- Perform seasonal system turn-ons and winterizations
- Ensure compliance with Texas state and local codes
- Track usage, identify inefficiencies, and support upsells (e.g., smart timers, drought kits)
- Document work performed via mobile app
Required Qualifications:
- Texas Irrigation Technician License
- 2+ years hands-on experience in irrigation systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in Texas heat
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and customer-first attitude
- Plus: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) Certification
- Experience with smart controllers (Rain Bird, Hunter, Rachio, etc.)
- Familiarity with mobile work order systems
