Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in pool maintenance and repair. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and functioning optimally for our clients. This role requires proficiency with both power and hand tools, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair various pool equipment.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance on swimming pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on pool systems.
- Inspect pool equipment for proper operation and identify any mechanical issues that need addressing.
- Conduct thorough pool cleaning, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing walls and floors.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on each pool, including chemical readings and repairs made.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service updates, and recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks related to pool maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in the maintenance industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve optimal results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
