Description:
Under the direction of the Director of Medical Physics and in support of the Senior Medical Physicists, responsible for the design optimization, technical evaluation and precise and accurate delivery of radiation plans, responsible for the safety of patients and staff. Supports and adheres to safety and compliance program to include OSHA, HIPAA and the Code of Ethics Provide continuing physics support to the department of radiation oncology. Assist and provide coverage in areas of instrumentation, equipment calibration, treatment planning, dosimetry, radiation protection and quality assurance. Estimated pay range for this position is $105.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

- Masters.
Licenses & Certifications:
- CCPM Clinical Medical Physics Certification (Canada).
- ABMP Medical Health Physics Certification.
- ABR Medical Physics Certification.
- Medical Physicist in Training.
- Therapeutic Radiological Physicist License.
Additional Qualifications:
- Masters Degree, DMP or PhD in medical physics from an accredited College or University.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical radiation physics.
- For non-certified candidates, Board eligibility and completion of certification (ABR, ABMP or CCPM) within three years.
- Must maintain certification and continuing education requirements outlined by the American College of Radiology, current certification in field by American Board of Radiology or Board of Medical Physics. Must obtain and maintain board certification and valid State of Florida license for medical physics as required
- -either TRP or MPT.
Minimum Required Experience: 3 years.
