We offer POOL MAINTENANCE / SERVICE AND REPAIRS for the west side of the Big Island.
TRAINING position for the KONA area. FULL TIME or PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Full time position complements MEDICAL BENEFITS, and PAID HOLIDAYS.
PAID HOLIDAYS, PAID VACATIONS AFTER 2 YEARS EMPLOYMENT,
COMPANY WORK VEHICLE PROVIDED FOR WORK DAYS.
ENTRY LEVEL TRAINING is available for the position. The time frame for "training" is determined by each individual's ability to absorb material and practical application.
IF APPLICABLE, we pay mileage/usage at government issued rates for personal vehicles used and applicants must have a CLEAN AND VALID DRIVERS LICENSE. BACKGROUND CHECKS ARE DONE ON PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEES.

JOB DESCRIPTION: (Training Available)
Check equipment, filters, pumps, shaft seal integrity (all pumps),working
Cleaning Filters
Brush tile
Skim water surface
Clean skimmers
Clean pump baskets
Test basic water chemistry (weekly)
Balance basic water chemistry
Vacuum pool (daily or as needed, & If applicable)
Brush pool walls
Brush spa walls (If applicable)
Maintain proper water levels
Monitor pumps functionality (i.e., bearing sounds, leaks on discharge etc)
Full spectrum chem. checks (tests not done on weekly basis)
Apply sequestering agents to minimize staining of plaster treat
for oils in water (If applicable)
Monitor calcium levels
Monitor water hardness levels
Monitor CYA levels
Monitor the need for clarifiers
Check functionality of auto fill systems
Must be able to lift 25 to 35 lbs comfortably at times
Driver abstracts and background check required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
