We’re looking for an experienced medical office coordinator / supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the practice and supervise front and back office staff, ensuring efficient administrative clinical processes, provide high-quality patient/client services, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves managing staff, inventory control, scheduling, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization. The position will be based in either our Scottsdale or Mesa clinic location and will require working shifts at both locations.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the practice to ensure smooth and efficient patient/client care.
- Manage and supervise administrative and clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, inventory and supplies, and billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to operations, staffing and finances.
- Coordinate with providers, partners, and senior leadership to align practice goals with organizational strategy.
- Handle patient/client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management.
- Other related job duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred. 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of clinic operations; primary health and/or behavioral health experience preferred.
- Proficiency using software and technology including Microsoft Office Suite and EHR (NexGen preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- CPR / BLS
