Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curricula, engaging children in meaningful activities, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their social and emotional development.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori principles, to cater to different learning styles.
- Engage children in physical education activities that promote health and wellness.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Support early intervention strategies for children who may need additional assistance.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- 45 hours DCF training hours or more
- 80 hours childcare experience/ Certificate
- Early Childhood Education Certificate Knowledge of childhood development principles and child welfare practices.
- Working towards an A. S. in Early Childhood Education
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
