Summary
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Chambersburg Church of the Brethren. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment for young children, helping them develop essential skills through play and structured activities.
Responsibilities
- Helps implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assist the Head Teacher in the children's academic progress and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support each child's growth.
- Helps with the implementation of literacy, computer skills, Christain education and math activities into daily routines to enhance learning.
- Helps Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements
- A passion to teach preschool aged children necessary.
- Experience working with young children in an educational or daycare setting helpful.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and early childhood education best practices helpful.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.

Expected hours: 25 per week
