About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and commercially minded Product Manager – Underground Automation to join our dynamic Product Management team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of RCT’s underground automation and data product portfolio, driving product strategy, innovation and commercial growth across global markets.

Working closely with customers, Sales, Engineering and the wider Epiroc Group, you’ll identify market opportunities, translate customer needs into product solutions and manage products throughout their entire lifecycle. Your ability to understand the customer experience, analyse market trends and collaborate across teams will be key to maximising product value and expanding our market presence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive product strategy and growth by maximising commercial value, increasing market penetration and identifying new revenue opportunities.
• Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering and development through to release, certification, customer support and obsolescence.
• Shape product roadmaps using customer feedback, market research, industry trends and business priorities.
• Champion the customer experience by engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering to define product requirements, support development activities and deliver innovative solutions.
• Monitor product performance by analysing customer complaints, recurring faults and market feedback, recommending improvements where needed.
• Manage warranty and support budgets, prioritising rectification work and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Collaborate across Epiroc to identify opportunities for product integration, synergies and portfolio optimisation.
• Identify new opportunities for innovation and recommend product rationalisation to strengthen the overall portfolio.

What You’ll Bring

• A background in electrical, electronics, mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years’ experience in a Product Management or similar role.
• A strong understanding of RCT products, their applications and the mining industry.
• A proven track record in customer engagement, understanding market requirements and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Experience developing product roadmaps, requirements and user-focused product documentation.
• Demonstrated success collaborating with Engineering and product development teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems, with Pronto and OnBase highly regarded.
