Position Summary:
The Production Assistant plays a key role in the preparation and production of W Donuts’ fresh, high-quality products. This hands-on position supports daily kitchen operations by assisting with frying, glazing, finishing, filling, decorating, dough preperation, cleaning, and other production-related tasks to ensure consistent product excellence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the making and frying of donuts according to company standards and production schedule
- Prepare and apply glazes, toppings, and fillings with accuracy and care
- Monitor quality of products throughout the shift and promptly report any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and sanitation standards
- Prepare production materials (e.g., trays, racks, mixes) to support efficiency
- Support team members across departments when needed (cross-training encouraged)
- Follow established recipes, processes, and guidelines with attention to detail
- Assist in end-of-shift cleanup, including washing equipment, sweeping, and trash removal
- Communicate effectively with teammates and management to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous food production or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
