Job Title: Production Manager / Lead Machinist
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee a small team of machinists and ensure smooth operations of production.
- Interpret drawings and create CNC programs to manufacture new and existing products.
- Lead CNC machining operations with strong mechanical and CNC programming skills.
- Setup and operate manual and CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and interface with inspection and quality control.
- Maintain and develop documentation such as programs, tool lists, and procedures.
- Ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of products.
- Contribute to design and engineering efforts to improve production.
Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years of CNC/manual machining and programming experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Proficient in G-code programming and possibly CAD/CAM software.
- Comfortable using computers and ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS, NetSuite, or similar).
- Experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
