Primary Duties:
- Responsible for the development of the production schedule and manufacturing plan consistent with finished product demand, resource availability, and inventory level objectives.
- Schedules the production of material through the plant to meet customer requirements and maintain inventory levels
- Work with Production Department to meet scheduling and production needs.
- Coordinates with Maintenance and Engineering for scheduled down-time, PMs, equipment upgrades, etc.
- Interfaces with Quality/NMI on product development programs
- Prepares and publishes daily production schedule
- Responsible for comprising the weekend/overtime production schedule
- Maintains open communication with customers, manufacturing and support personnel to assure manufacturing plans are clearly understood and fulfilled
- Analyze changes in demand at the part level, weekly review inventory against planned consumption at the part level
- Review and evaluate customer demand information
- Order raw glass and other raw materials in a timely manner to support the production schedule
- Responsible for AGR and Service order management
- Backup to daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Participate in Physical Inventories bi-annually; cycle counting as requested
- On call 24/7 to respond to customers and scheduling questions

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of materials/logistics experience
- Customer focused
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize objectives and targets to meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills
Qualifications Desired:
- 3-5 years of materials/logistics experience
- Six sigma certification
- APICS certification
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Salary Range: $65,321 - $89,580
