Position Overview
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, the Production Assistant will be responsible for supporting filling, labeling, filling, boxing, warehouse operations, inventory movement, equipment cleaning and maintenance, and facility upkeep. This role requires physical labor, organization, and teamwork to help keep production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support
- Label, fill, and box products efficiently and accurately.
- Assist in setting up efficient in-line workstations for production tasks.
- Follow batch records, documentation, and work orders accurately and consistently.
- Reassemble, clean, and disassemble production equipment.
- Correctly operate filling and labeling equipment.
- Assist Formulations in mixing and moving ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized production area at all times
Warehouse & Inventory Support
- Assist with re-stocking and organizing incoming materials, packaging, and supplies.
- Help stock and label ingredients and materials following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Safely move and handle buckets, drums, and pallets of ingredients and packaging materials.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and storage areas.
Equipment & Facility Maintenance
- Assist with setting up, disassembling, and cleaning production equipment.
- Help ensure equipment is in good working order and perform minor repairs
- Sanitize tools, equipment, and workspaces according to company procedures.
- Organize workstations and tools to improve efficiency and maintain safety.
General Operations & Support
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and compliance regulations.
- Assist with problem-solving and resolving minor issues that arise in daily operations.
- Perform basic computer tasks related to inventory tracking, labeling, or documentation as needed.
- Maintain a positive, efficient, and professional work environment.
Experience & Skills Needed
- A great attitude, strong work ethic, and team player mentality.
- Ability to handle physical labor (lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic mechanical aptitude (comfortable handling equipment and tools).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment (skincare, food, or pharmaceutical experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), OSHA, or other safety standards.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
