Position Summary: The Program Implementation Specialist is a contracted
professional who plays a pivotal role in advancing Synergy Family Services' strategic growth
initiatives. As a critical member of the Initiatives Team, this individual is responsible for
transforming approved program proposals into operational realities. Working cross-functionally
with HR, compliance, department leads, and external partners, the Implementation Specialist
ensures that new programs are launched with efficiency, clarity, and full alignment to regulatory
standards and organizational vision. This role supports rollouts and ensures execution fidelity,
bridging the gap between vision and delivery through structured timelines, actionable planning,
and results-oriented coordination.
Responsibility:
- Coordinates program launch logistics with HR, compliance, and department supervisors
- Translates proposals into detailed implementation timelines, action plans, and
deliverables - Tracks implementation milestones and shares status updates with the Initiatives
- Coordinator and Program Development Manager
- Prepares and submits licensure and regulatory documentation (e.g., BHA, CARF, NHSC)
- Coordinates evidence-based training logistics in accordance with proposal guidelines; in
collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - Collaborates with Human Resources to draft job descriptions and initiate recruitment
readiness - Co-develops SOPs, onboarding tools, and program-specific resource packages
- Supports rollouts of new service lines and ensures fidelity to the approved
implementation plan - Maintains detailed project documentation and supports reporting for leadership and grant
compliance
Qualification and Education: The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Human Services, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience in behavioral health operations, program coordination, or healthcare implementation. Familiarity with Maryland’s behavioral health licensing requirements and evidence-based service models is strongly preferred. The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and adept at translating high-level ideas into actionable workflows. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines are essential in this role.
