Project Accountant

Overview:
Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is looking for a Project Accountant to join our Denver, CO office!

This is an in-office position on our dynamic regional accounting team at 6200 South Syracuse Way, Suite 300, Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Responsibilities:
  • Monthly financial analysis and on-going revenue recognition
  • Work with Project Managers in a variety of disciplines
  • Meeting multiple critical deadlines on a monthly basis
  • Ensure all billing transactions are completed and accurately recorded in MIS system
  • Prepare invoices and complete monthly billing
  • Contract management and review
  • Coordinate and pursue receivables
  • Monthly travel to other offices within the region
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
  • Entry level to 3 years accounting experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • High degree of professionalism and strong people skills
  • Must be an excellent team player
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word required
  • Experience using computerized accounting systems

Salary Range: $70,000 to $76,000 annually.
