We are seeking a talented individual to join our Tax team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in New York City, and it is a hybrid role with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Project & Administrative Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of Tax projects and departmental operations. You'll manage project timelines, facilitate effective communication, and oversee administrative functions, all while fostering a collaborative and organized work environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives and support a dynamic team!

We will count on you to:

  • Coordinate and support the successful delivery of Tax projects by managing timelines, documentation, and budgets, including purchase orders, vendor invoicing, expense reconciliations, etc.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking
  • Maintain project calendars, ensuring all team members are informed of key dates and deadlines
  • Keep a track record of Tax projects to report on periodic progress and updates
  • Maintain clear and accessible project files and records for efficient team collaboration
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and external stakeholders to ensure accurate information sharing
  • Assist project managers in creating presentations and reports for project updates and stakeholder meetings
  • Oversee departmental administrative functions to ensure smooth operations, including managing calendars for team-wide events and key activities
  • Organize and coordinate departmental meetings, including logistics, materials, and technology setup
  • Manage and update departmental files, records, and databases for easy access and organization
  • Support the end-to-end hiring and onboarding process for temporary staff and interns, providing ongoing guidance
  • Collaborate with the Finance Internship Program team to include Tax interns in company-wide learning sessions, supporting their professional development

What you need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in an administrative coordinator role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues proactively

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $52,400 to $104,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
