Position: Project Manager
Location: Onsite - Lansing, MI 48933
Duration: Long Term
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing large-scale Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) projects, ideally for state or federal child welfare systems (e.g., CCWIS, MiSACWIS).
- Strong background working with:
- Agile and hybrid project delivery models
- SUITE (State Unified IT Environment) methodologies or equivalent (e.g., PMBoK, CMMI)
- Direct experience engaging with government stakeholders and navigating government reporting structures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiyear, modular IT initiatives across system development life cycles.
- Familiarity with technical infrastructure assessments, performance reporting, and organizational readiness evaluations.
- Skills:
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to report and present findings to executive-level stakeholders.
Project Planning & Monitoring:
- Ability to create and manage IV&V project plans, schedules, communication protocols, and performance metrics.
- Risk and issue management expertise including escalation planning and mitigation.
Analytical and Reporting:
- Strong skills in reviewing documentation, tracking deliverables, assessing technical and managerial performance.
- Preparation of detailed reports covering risk, compliance, testing, system performance, and change management.
Technical Aptitude:
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, data modeling, Salesforce platform constraints, and software performance evaluation.
Tools & Methodologies:
- Proficient in tools for performance tracking, testing oversight, documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to align with SUITE PMM/SEM standards or propose equivalent best-practice frameworks.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
