OVERVIEW:

Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Project Manager/ Coordinator

Position: Project Manager/ Coordinator

Location: Irvine, CA 92603 (17200 Laguna Canyon Road)

Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension

Pay Rate: $35/hr

Relocation Expenses/ Assistance: NO

Job Description:

• The Program/Project Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of programs and projects, which may include overseeing single or multiple initiatives.
• This role may also involve managing project and/or program managers within the assigned scope.
• The individual will work within defined budget, schedule, and scope constraints, while proactively managing risks and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
• Manage the execution of programs and projects, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and scope.
• Apply established project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within project/program management.
• Ability to apply knowledge and skills to complete assigned work independently.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
