ECF Engineering Consultants is a full-service engineering firm specializing in providing technical solutions to the Energy Markets, including both public and private sectors, that require electrical and mechanical engineering support.
We serve these entities on a range of projects, offering consultation on technology utilization, design solutions for electrical and mechanical systems, public health systems, and equipment procurement and construction phase services.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Lead project teams and manage projects directly, or with staff, executing projects of high complexity, magnitude, volume, or impact. Identify and institute best practices procedures for the Project Management Group. Experience in Electrical Substations required.
- Project Leadership: The Project Manager oversees the project team to ensure successful execution, serving as the primary advocate and communication point for the project.
- Project Team Coordination: Establish and monitor internal and external collaboration between the Client, Project Team, company disciplines, and departments.
- Project Proposal Development: Ensure all disciplines thoroughly understand the bid documents. Facilitate the development, compilation, and submission of proposals. Ensure the proposal team thoroughly understands all Terms and Conditions. Coordinate a legal review with ECF Legal Staff before signing the contract.
- Project Resource Management: Negotiate with and manage subcontractors when applicable. Negotiate with and oversee material suppliers when appropriate. Advocate for prioritizing internal resources.
- Project Financial Management: Ensure project costs and profits meet or exceed budgets. Manage change orders promptly and thoroughly, capturing all associated fees. Facilitate efficient billing processes in accordance with the company's accounting standards and practices.
- Project Schedule Management: Utilize scheduling tools (e.g., MS-Project) to monitor and share progress.
- Project Administration: Manage all project documentation.
- Project Communication: Effectively deliver status reports to the client as needed. Manage communication between the client and the project team to ensure expectations are met. Facilitate internal communication across disciplines and departments. Provide status reports to principals and management as required.
- Project Safety: Always prioritize safety in projects. Ensure that you follow the company's safety policies. Meet or surpass the specific safety requirements of the Client.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Business Administration or Project Management from an accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Preferred Qualification: PMP Certification (Project Management Professional); PE (Professional Engineer), Financial Management education and/or experience.
- Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance control.
- Strong communication skills and client-facing and teamwork skills; Strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Project Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Flowcharts on a proficient level

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
