Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of construction processes.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide the construction process effectively.
- Coordinate project scheduling, ensuring that timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Manage subcontractors and laborers, providing direction and support to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Utilize construction management software to track progress, manage contracts, and communicate updates with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Implement OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
- Prepare reports on project status, including any challenges faced and solutions implemented.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and best practices in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with tools such as Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration.
- Experience with project scheduling techniques and software is highly desirable.
- Understanding of contract management principles and experience using Prolog or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
