Job Summary
The Property Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of real estate properties. This position involves overseeing administrative tasks related to property leasing, maintenance, and compliance with legal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate administration and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Duties
- Manage and maintain property leasing documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee the work of contractors using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist in the preparation and execution of contracts related to property management.
- Support the sales team by providing necessary administrative assistance related to property listings and client communications.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property inspections.
- Facilitate communication between tenants, property owners, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay informed about Section 8 regulations and other relevant laws affecting property management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in real estate administrative roles or legal administrative positions is preferred.
- Familiarity with property leasing processes and contract management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software applications and CMMS tools.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus.
- A background in law or legal studies is advantageous but not mandatory.
