$20/hr extra if you do the cleaning of cabins--or a husband and wife team-or less money and we use another peron to clean cabins
We are seeking a Ranch Resort (7 cabins/6 acres) Property Manager. We are a luxury short term rental resort. We cater to families and offer canoes and kayaks and firewood for individual fire pits to our guests. The job includes everything from cleaning the cabins, plowing the snow in the winter (skid steer experience necessary), mowing (high-end ride-on), landscaping, watering lots of flowers in the summer, storing summer furniture when the snow comes, putting up Christmas lights, greeting guests or helping them, etc .
Approx. 30 hours/week Nov. to May & 60-70/wk June to Sept.
I do all bookings, marketing, admin., banking, billing, most guest interface unless they need something on-site, etc. I am the owner. I am on-site many times/year to assist and supervise, but you would be autonomous and run the place on a day-to-day basis. Must be sober, reliable, honest, and hard working.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. He or she--or even a couple--must be professional, sober, able to drive a skid steer, a plow truck, a ride-on mower (there's 5 acres to mow in the summer), able to clean cabins and manage a cleaning crew in the summer months, be honest, neat, and nice...
LAKE FRONT HOUSING PROVIDED!!! It's 2 bedroom/2 bath with a remodeled kitchen and fireplace. All utilities, etc. The laundry room for the cabin linens is in the basement of your lake front housing. Doing the laundry is part of the job. There are also W/D's in each cabin to speed things up. There is also a Razor to drive around the property with an move laundry and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of my gorgeous, high-end cabins along the river, here in Grand Lake
-Clean the cabins like they are Ritz Carlton Villas
-Groundskeeping/Landscaping
-Plowing and mowing and watering plants and flowers in the summer
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Oversee and mostly preform property maintenance and repairs--don't worry I have a plumber and electrician too.
- Take care of the two ranch cats who live here-and live with you when I am gone.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property upkeep and deliveries
- Oversee the storage units--all calls and billing come to me.
Requirements
- Experience in property management, detailed cleaning, and groundskeeping
- Proficiency in cleaning, skid steer use, and mower use, shoveling roofs...
- Familiarity with property maintenance/handyperson skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work reliably and independently
-Driver's license
-experience with lots of snow in the winter
-experience driving a skid steer
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
