Overview
We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Federal RFP/RFI technical writing and editing, experience with Compliance Matrix, Capability Matrix, with the ability to create proposals that effectively communicate our company's value proposition. This role requires excellent research and communication skills, as well as proficiency in various software tools to enhance proposal quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit proposals in response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and other solicitation documents.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in all proposals.
- Conduct thorough research to support proposal content and provide relevant data that enhances the proposal's effectiveness.
- Utilize Visio, Draw.IO or Powerpoint for creating diagrams or flowcharts that illustrate complex concepts clearly.
- Proofread and edit proposals for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company standards before submission.
- Maintain a library of proposal templates and best practices to streamline future submissions.
- Ensure all proposals are submitted on time and meet the required specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience in technical writing or proposal writing for Federal RFP/RFIs, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong editing skills with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality documents that are free from errors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word) for document creation and formatting.
- Shipley certified preferred.
- Familiarity with research methodologies to gather relevant information efficiently.
