We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Publishing Clerk / Documentation Specialist to assist with preparing, formatting, organizing, and maintaining documents for digital or internal publishing. This is a support-focused role with straightforward tasks, ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and basic computer proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Format and edit documents in Microsoft Word, PDF, or Google Docs
Upload files to internal systems, shared drives, or content management platforms
Rename, tag, and archive documents using consistent naming conventions
Check documents for formatting issues, typos, or outdated information
Track document versions and ensure the most current file is available
Maintain logs or spreadsheets of submitted or published documents
Perform basic quality checks (e.g., ensuring hyperlinks work or pages are numbered)
Requirements:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word), Google Workspace, or similar tools
Comfortable with document formatting, saving, and organizing files
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable internet connection and computer
