Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pump Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of pumps and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. As a Pump Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our pumping systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair different types of pumps and associated systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pump Technician or in a similar role within the mechanical field.
- Strong knowledge of pump systems, components, and operations.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, particularly an ohmmeter, is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
