Quality IT Inspector
Location: This role is fully onsite in our Fort Worth, TX office.
Hours: 10:30 am - 7 pm
Duration: 40 hours per week. Potential to convert to full time.

Quality Assurance IT Specialist/Inspector

High-Level Responsibilities
A Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for QA checks, ensuring that products meet established quality standards throughout the entire warehouse and integration process, from receiving to integration to shipping. They inspect incoming and outgoing products, analyze data, and work to improve quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and tests to ensure products meet established criteria across production, logistics, and warehouse environments.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and materials.
- Review and verify technical documentation, including Certificates of Conformity (CFC), packing slips, and inspection checklists.
- Conduct source inspections and ensure photo documentation aligns with client requirements.
- Perform visual inspections for damage, defects, or signs of improper handling.
- Identify and remove non-conforming or damaged products; determine appropriate disposition (e.g., rework, scrap, economy inventory).
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation for shipments, including asset tags and production labels.
- Compare picked items against order manifests or system records to confirm accuracy (item, quantity, specifications).
- Verify product variations (e.g., size, color, model) and ensure all required items are present, preventing short or over picks.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions in the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and report on quality metrics such as defect rates, inspection pass rates, and response times.
- Document discrepancies or quality issues according to established protocols.
- Communicate significant issues or developments to managers, supervisors, and QA personnel.
- Adhere to company quality control procedures and safety protocols during inspections.
- Alert team members and supervisors when defects or patterns of errors are identified.
- Assist in identifying potential flaws in the picking or inspection process.
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Engage in training and development related to quality assurance processes.
