Job Title: RCFE Caregiver
Location: 131 Segovia Ave, San Gabriel, CA 91775
Job Type: Part-Time
Shifts Available: On Call Friday & Saturday (Day, Night, Overnight, Weekends, Holidays)
Pay Rate: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
About Us
Henrietta’s Home is a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. We are seeking caring and dependable RCFE Caregivers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed treatments under supervision.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental health to appropriate staff.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.
- Encourage and engage residents in social and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
- Follow all RCFE regulations and facility policies.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and comfort to residents.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED (Preferred).
- RCFE Certification or Caregiver Training (Preferred but not required).
- Previous caregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing (Preferred but not required).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
