POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall leadership and strategic development of the non-clinical peer support programs and oversight of all personnel of the AllRoads recovery center, JBRC sober living and recovery support services. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. Will supervise all staff and personnel of the All-Roads Recovery Community Centers (ARRCC), sober living and Peer support services.
Work with the program coordinators and staff of all programs to aid in problem solving, strategic planning and program development. Collaborate with Chief Financial Officer to monitor the use of grant funding. Meet grant obligations and ensure proper data collection and reporting. Work to maintain any permits and certifications required to run the programs. Ensure programs are staffed, well trained and know how to deliver client center care. Provide one on one supervision and team meetings to maintain strong team dynamics and mission and vision focus.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree AND two years of mental health direct care experience, which may include experience in peer support services, or A high school diploma or GED AND four years of mental health direct care experience, which may include experience in peer support services.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Must complete mandatory eighteen 18 hour Ethics/Peer Support training and 30 hour Recovery Coach Training.
EXPERIENCE: Must have five years of lived experience in the guiding principles of recovery that assist individuals to improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and reach their full potential. At least 3 years of effective supervisory management.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, and reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier, and telephone. Essential functions of this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to department leadership.
