WHO YOU ARE:
A collaborative engaged professional that will partner with the TWC workforce team and service providers to uplift Texans. You are a senior technical analyst with research skills. You have great communication and organization skills and seeks to become a reemployment services subject matter expert.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Reemployment Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical assistance work. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Serves as local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training
- Become the RESEA subject matter expert on all aspects of program policy performance and implementation
- Conduct TWC touchpoints and Board support with professional expertise, etiquette, and demeanor
- Conduct research on program assessments and preliminary investigations
- Develop executive summaries, observation reports, program procedures and desk-aides, and recommendations for service delivery improvements
- Support and present at RESEA conference, webinars, and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
YOU QUALIFY WITH:
- Two years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Knowledge of RESEA or other workforce program services, procedures, and policies.
- Intermediate PowerPoint, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience writing site observation and operations reports.
- Have great listening skills, and professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone etiquette.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
