Job Summary: Motivated and detail-oriented Research and Development (R&D) Supervisor to support our R&D team. The R&D Supervisor will assist in driving innovation, overseeing product development processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our pork products. This role requires a hands-on approach and a passion for food science and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day R&D activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Support the development and implementation of R&D strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct research to identify new trends, technologies, and opportunities in the pork production industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product launches.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of new products and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team.
- And all other duties as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in R&D within the food industry, preferably in meat or pork production.
- Proven track record of successful product development and innovation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
