Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Resident Solution Architect with deep expertise in Unified Communications (UC), UC migrations, Terraform, and data engineering. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design, implement, and guide complex technical solutions across hybrid and cloud environments, while serving as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of UC solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Drive UC migration strategies from legacy systems to modern platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, etc.).
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define technical roadmaps, solution architectures, and transformation plans.
- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable infrastructure deployments.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to support the integration of UC systems with data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting tools.
- Create detailed architectural documentation, technical specifications, and operational guides.
- Act as a subject matter expert in UC and infrastructure, providing guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across UC and cloud environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on Unified Communications and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with UC platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Zoom, Skype for Business, etc.).
- Expertise in UC migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and other IaC tools for managing infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid background in data engineering, including data flow design, ETL processes, and integration with analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a resident architect capacity or closely embedded within a client organization is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in UC platforms (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco).
- Terraform certification (e.g., HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
