We are seeking dedicated Residential Counselors / Youth Mentors to support students in our residential treatment program during 2nd shift hours. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in youth mentoring, direct care, behavioral health, or counseling who are passionate about helping young people succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure student safety through active supervision, monitoring, and engagement.

Support students emotionally and environmentally by following individualized treatment plans.

Apply the agency’s crisis intervention model, including safe physical restraint techniques if absolutely necessary.

Attend weekly team meetings with Cottage Manager and program clinician to review student progress, group dynamics, and areas of growth.

Complete pre-shift planning and follow established schedules for meals, laundry, and evening routines.

Participate in post-shift debriefings to share updates and ensure smooth transitions.

Maintain required mental health and program documentation within compliance standards (training provided).

Communicate effectively with guardians, residential staff, and other agency professionals.

Build supportive relationships with students to promote self-awareness, personal growth, and lasting change.

Facilitate student processing sessions under the agency’s therapeutic model.
- Safely transport students between locations using an agency vehicle, as needed.
