At Taylor Bank, we strive to help our communities and customers succeed. In this position, you will work with members of our loan department to facilitate residential and consumer loans to our customers.
WE ARE SEEKING: An experienced Residential Loan Processor to work in our Berlin, Maryland office (this is not a remote position).
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Working with loan officers and underwriters.
- Preparing preliminary and closing loan documents.
- Pulling credit reports and ordering appraisals.
- Ensuring client documents are accurate and complete.
- Handling incoming customer calls and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Developing repayment plans.
- Maintaining records.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- An Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and at least two years’ experience in loan processing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of compliance with banking regulations, HMDA and the processing of residential and consumer loan transactions.
- Working knowledge and experience with loan automation software.
- An understanding of the complexity of loan documents, including document preparation, timing requirements, the closing process and file maintenance.
- Solid math skills, basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay. We also have a discretionary bonus plan, subject to company performance.
