Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Providers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their private residence. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for those in your care through attentive support and assistance with daily activities. Ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s, and other memory-related conditions.
Schedule: Fridays 1:45pm-4pm and Sundays 9am-12pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medications reminders.
- Support clients in maintaining personal hygiene and cleanliness of their living environment.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health care, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
