Special Needs Nanny – Full-Time or Part-Time | Sunnyvale/San Jose, CA

We are seeking compassionate, experienced individuals to join our growing team as Special Needs Nannies. This is a rewarding opportunity to support families and care for children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other developmental needs.
Position Details:
- Job Type: Part-time or Full-time
- Location: Sunnyvale and surrounding areas (must be able to travel to San Jose and nearby cities)
- Schedule: Minimum availability of 3–5 days per week, between 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM; weekend shifts also available
- Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, plus sibling care bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care for children with special needs
- Engage in activities that promote learning, creativity, and emotional development
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Maintain regular communication with parents and team leads
- Support daily routines, including mealtime, hygiene, and light household tasks related to childcare
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience caring for children with special needs strongly preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to the San Jose area
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a smartphone with data access for communication and scheduling

- Are physically able to perform the duties listed below
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs safely
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to transition from floor to standing multiple times a day
- Must be able to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
