At Liles Performance and Auto Body, we specialize in ground-up restorations of classic cars—no modern vehicles, no insurance work. Every project is about craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in doing things the right way.
We’re looking for a well-rounded Restoration Technician with skills in bodywork, paint prep, and light to moderate metal fabrication. If you enjoy the variety of working on full classic builds and want to be part of a team that values quality over shortcuts, this is the shop for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general bodywork, panel alignment, filler work, and blocking
- Prep vehicles for paint: sanding, priming, sealing, and masking
- Assist with painting or lead in spraying (based on experience)
- Weld and fabricate patch panels or sections as needed for restoration
- Tear down and reassemble vehicles during the build process
- Keep a clean, organized work area and contribute to a team-driven environment
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in bodywork, paint prep, or metal fab (bonus if all three)
- Ability to work on older vehicles with patience and craftsmanship
- Experience with MIG welding and basic fabrication tools
- Clean work habits and pride in your attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and on a team
