Job Summary
"The Risk Program Analyst I provides foundational support to the Consumer Banking Risk Management team by executing core tasks that promote consistency, accountability, and transparency in the management of consumer-related risks. As a key contributor, the Analyst supports key elements of the first-line risk management framework--primarily within issue management, remediation oversight, risk documentation, and governance reporting.
The Analyst works closely with the Risk Operations & Issue Management Manager and supports adjacent functions, including regulatory exam readiness, reporting, complaints, and testing. This role plays an important part in helping the Consumer Bank maintain risk discipline, prepare for oversight engagements, and demonstrate adherence to enterprise and regulatory standards."
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue Management Support - Maintains up-to-date issue logs, ensuring entries are complete, clearly written, and accurately reflect ownership, due dates, and progress. Assists with intake self identified issues, including documentation reviews and confirmation of required fields and classifications. Supports evidence collection, validation preparation, and closure documentation to help business lines meet audit-ready standards.
- Remediation Documentation - Helps compile remediation plans and track interim milestones for high-impact issues. Tracks links between issues and associated complaints, testing failures, or customer impacts where applicable.
- Procedure & Governance Document Management - Supports updates, version control, and formatting of risk-related procedures and job aids. Maintains inventory of policies and procedures owned by the Consumer Banking first line and assist in the coordination of periodic reviews.
- Risk Reporting & Data Support - Gathers data and update trackers to feed dashboards and committee reporting managed by the Risk Insights & Reporting Analyst. Flags inconsistencies, outdated entries, or missing information in key risk management tools or logs.
- Regulatory & Exam Readiness Assistance - Assists in organizing and indexing documentation requested by internal audit, compliance testing, or regulators. Tracks responses and status updates to ensure exam readiness deliverables are timely and accurate. Maintains document folders and logs for internal walkthroughs and external exams.
- Team Collaboration & Administrative Support - Schedules and prepares for meetings related to issue validation, redress planning, or regulatory reviews. Participates in special projects and process improvement initiatives across the broader Consumer Risk Management team. Serves as a reliable team player, willing to adapt and learn across the full spectrum of risk management disciplines.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

QualificationsMinimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or other related fields or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience:
- Two years of experience
