JOB SUMMARY:
A position in the Program Management Office (PMO) serving up flight simulators for the aviation market, responsible for supporting the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects. Experienced in engineering environments, new product development, cross-functional team building, sub-contracts and business administration, the Program Analyst will ensure seamless communications across projects and between stakeholders. Working closely with the Program and Project Managers the Program Analyst will maintain project schedules, track deliverables, manage documentation, and support risk and issue management. The Program Analyst will have strong word processing and presentation skills, be highly detail oriented, able to keep organized around vast amounts of information, and manage performance reports for Projects and the PMO. The candidate should enjoy technology and aviation, high-tech products, entrepreneurial thinking, and complex problems, in a very supportive, fun environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the administration of simulator projects including Full Flight Simulators (FFSs), Flight Training Devices (FTDs), upgrades, and service programs across their lifecycle.
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring program activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by reviewing delivery performance, assessing risks, and analyzing schedule variances.
- Collect, verify, and maintain critical program documentation, schedules, and performance metrics to support reporting and team coordination.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, capturing decisions, and distributing formal meeting minutes and action items.
- Track program milestones, risks, issues, and interdependencies, escalating concerns and supporting mitigation strategies as needed.
- Consolidate project-level data into program-level dashboards and reports for executive and stakeholder visibility.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, tools, and processes, supporting continuous improvement and compliance with TRU's ISO 9001 QMS.
- Collaborate with Procurement to develop subcontractor proposal requests and statements of work, gathering technical requirements, pricing, and terms from the program team.
- Generate regular updates on project and subcontractor performance, maintaining accurate records, reports, and communication logs.
- Support production and logistics coordination, working with Warehouse, Receiving, and Shipping teams to ensure timely material flow and service delivery.
- Monitor engineering deliverables and design changes, working closely with Project Engineers to manage product configurations and communicate technical requirements.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management related field, preferably serving military and department of defense contracts, and working in a Program Management Office (PMO).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Strong time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook to coordinate meetings.
- Understands and able to work independently with general business tools used in Project Management, Quality Management, Work Estimating, Cost Accounting, and Scheduling.
- Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of products, and/or data processing tools and techniques for performance analysis
