We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and knowledgeable Robotics Instructor to join our team and inspire the next generation of innovators. As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver engaging lessons that teach students about robotics, programming, and STEM concepts in a hands-on, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach interactive lessons focused on robotics, engineering, and programming concepts, ensuring material is accessible and engaging for students of various learning styles.
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different skill levels, from beginner to advanced learners, while encouraging student exploration and creativity.
- Foster a classroom environment that is both fun and focused, ensuring that all students feel supported and motivated to reach their full potential.
- Provide one-on-one assistance and tutoring for students who need extra help, both during and outside of regular class hours.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through hands-on projects, group activities, and real-world applications of robotics.
- Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas for continuous improvement in teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong background in robotics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring in STEM subjects, with a focus on engaging students in active learning.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them in an accessible, relatable way.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with varying levels of prior knowledge and different learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a classroom setting or educational environment is preferred, but not required.
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed in their learning journey.
