Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled facilitator to join our team in a dynamic environment focused on behavioral health. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering effective individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- The counselor will complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCA), ensuring that consumers are given efficient and prompt access to treatment.
- The counselor will be responsible for preparing the Person-Centered Plan (PCP) and Crisis Plan for each Medicaid client. The counselor will maintain the plan, updating the PCP based on the needs of the client and/or requirements of the Medicaid service definition and LME/MCO.
- The counselor is responsible for the upload of all Medicaid-related documents to the appropriate LME/MCO provider portal.
- The counselor is responsible for the research, corrections, and re-submission of all denied authorizations and re-authorizations.
- The counselor will facilitate SAIOP.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (M.A) in Psychology, Counseling or, Social Work or related field or Associates Degree in Counseling or related field. Will maintain their LCAS-A or LCAS, credentials.
- Will maintain their credentialing with NCTRACKS and the designated LME/MCO.
- Registration with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Board is required and all mandated continuing education hours to uphold licensure.
