Organics to You is a local produce delivery company in Portland, OR, looking for a new team member to help us stay healthy and grow in 2025 and beyond. We have been delivering fresh produce and groceries around town since 2001. We are looking for someone who is flexible, versatile, willing to help where needed, positive, friendly, self-starting, independent, and honest. This position will focus on tabling events and sales growth for the company. It will encompass all marketing duties associated with events and potential customer communications. It will include weekend work at times as most marketing events are on the weekends.
The perfect candidate will be a creative and reliable worker who can contribute in various ways, including marketing, operations, and customer service.
More hours are available depending on candidate’s strengths, interests, and skill set. We have needs with business development and sales, operations and customer service, and substitute warehouse and driving work. The perfect candidate would be able and willing to do all work as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Table at marketing events to meet potential customers and sign them up for the service
- Set up and breakdown for events
- Bring creativity and thoughtfulness to all you do so as to improve efficiencies, effectiveness, and customer retention
- Offer your own unique set of skills and experiences to improve our team and our efforts to satisfy customers and provide superior service
- Office hours on Tuesday from 8am until 12pm
- Provide customer service solutions with prompt and friendly responses when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 of these 4:
- Customer service experience
- Tabling experience
- Office experience
- Marketing experience
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office, Canva/Photoshop or photo editing are preferred
- Friendly, positive, patient, hard-working, self-starter, organized
- Able to lift 50lbs and carry it upstairs for unloading/loading at events
- A desire to help a small company grow with potential for more hours and responsibilities
Hours: As needed for events (mostly nights and weekends), more hours potentially for the right candidate who wants to do other tasks
Compensation:
- $20/hr + commission
- Paid-time off accumulation after 90 days
- Holiday pay on all company holidays
