Overview
Food Security Solutions, Inc. is one of the world’s leading fertilizer traders with the primary mission to contribute to global food security. We seek a Sales Operations Specialist to support the Business Unit in terms of sales execution and provide assistance to the Sales Managers with day-to-day operations as we import and distribute Fertilizer and Chemical products throughout the USA.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tampa, FL 33607.
The role will report to Commercial Director and will require close collaboration with the Accounting & Logistics departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Documenting sales process from origination until delivery, recording sales, and managing compliance
- Creating contracts and entering sales data into the ERP System;
- Documenting deal changes and managing additional agreements to existing contracts;
- Preparing invoices in the ERP System;
- Working closely with accounting team to monitor the valid KYC status of customers and manage credit/insurance limits
- Providing customers with critical information and concise data reporting as needed, including but not limited to product reports, product release information and documentation, sales overview and contract execution;
- Providing exemplary customer service, order entry, and contract execution by mail, messengers, and phone;
- Analyzing commercial activities and preparing reports for internal teams
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum two years of professional experience in an office environment, related accounting experience, legal knowledge of contracts and compliance requirements.
- Work experience in Logistics, B2B sales support, or commodity trading is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products – intermediate to advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Data entry and ERP experience are a plus.
Education: College degree in Accounting, business, or finance preferred.
Language: Professional English is a must. Second language is a plus. Needs to have strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, internal/external, and other operational departments, and must possess the ability to converse effectively in verbal and written form.

- Must be reliable and responsible.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift, and move up to 20 lbs.
- Work may be performed in an office, where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
Travel:
- Minimal travel is required as needed for job-related duties such as training, project work, vendors visit, and administrative tasks.
