Salotto Salon in Rancho Bernardo is a family-owned and operated salon, training and evolving the expertise of team-oriented Stylists who are striving to learn more and hone in on their skills before beginning their career behind the chair. This is a part-time assistant position with opportunity to apply to advance to a full or part-time Stylist position upon completion of training, based on availability.
Applicants need to be self-motivated, team-oriented, eager to learn LICENSED COSMETOLOGISTS who are looking to expand and perfect their skills in the beauty industry. We have trained dozens of stylists over the course of 20+ years and strive to empower new stylists to become the best they can be with in depth knowledge of styling, color theory, formulating and placement, precision and creative hair cutting, an excellence in customer service and a passion for our clients. This position entails assisting owner, Anthony Lam, while having the unique opportunity to learn from our other multi-talented stylists with specialities in healthy hair care, smoothing and keratins, blonding and extension methods.
Primary products used: Schwarzkopf, Wella, Milbon, Living Proof, MK and Keratin Complex smoothing treatments, Invisible Bead extensions and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily opening and closing procedures
- Various front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, confirming appointments, checking out services, scheduling appointments
- Maintaining CA State Board practices
- Assisting stylists in washing clients, foil and color placement, blowdrying, mixing color, stocking supplies
- Laundry and overall salon cleanliness
This position requires part-time availability Tuesday-Saturday, with valuable training sessions offered on Mondays and the opportunity for growth.
