Sit Still Kid's Salon is a modern children's salon offering exceptional haircare services in a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere, without being anti-adult. Our goal is to provide a personalized and top-tier experience for each little client while leading the way in the children's hair industry. We offer a full-service salon experience that's both welcoming and sophisticated. We're seeking a talented, creative, and experienced Barber to join our elite team. This will be the first Sit Still Kids Salon in Rhode Island, opening in Smithfield in Fall 2025.
Schedule: Full Time and Part Time available- afternoons and weekends required

Barber Responsibilities:
- Create a positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere for children and parents.
- Perform haircuts and styling services for children of various ages.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and new techniques to provide cutting-edge services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and professional environment.
- Offer product recommendations to clients based on individual needs and hair types.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication to increase client retention and clientele.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain the salon’s high standards of service and performance.
Barber Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a barber, experience with children a bonus!
- Current state barber license.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Expertise in cutting and styling hair.
- Strong knowledge of trends, haircare products, and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a talent for building rapport with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creativity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing training.
