All Recycling North is a transfer station and metal recycling company committed to environmental sustainability and operational excellence. We are currently seeking a Scale House Operator to join our team in Denver, CO.
Position Summary:
The Scale House Operator is responsible for weighing inbound and outbound trucks, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. This role also includes administrative and clerical responsibilities and will cover breaks for both scale house and cashier staff to ensure continuous operation throughout the day.
This position is located at a transfer station and is primarily based in the scale house. However, you will be expected to walk between the scale house and the office regularly and must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Schedule:
- Tuesday through Saturday, full-time
- Must be available to work between 5:30 AM and 5:15 PM
- Will be part of a rotating schedule for start times
- Work Location: On-site, Denver, CO

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct all customers entering the facility
- Accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks using a computerized scale system
- Review loads to ensure accuracy of customer account info, weight, and materials
- Monitor incoming loads for prohibited or unsafe materials
- Rotate as cashier when needed
- Cover break and lunch schedules for both scale house and cashier staff
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate, helpful information
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and recordkeeping
- Maintain consistent and punctual attendance
- Walk between scale house and office as needed throughout the day
- Lift up to 20 pounds occasionally

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Must be comfortable walking between buildings outdoors in various weather conditions
